Summit Shasta serves students from nearby Peninsula communities including South San Francisco, San Bruno, and Pacifica. US News & World Report has continuously ranked Summit Shasta as one of the nation’s Best High Schools.

•We at Ignite the Mind are proud to be providing  quality tutoring and mentorship to the students of Shasta Summit through the work of our amazing tutors and staff. 🤩

We're excited to announce a partnership with Summit Prep🤩📚

•At Ignite the Mind, our core purpose is to cultivate a passion for learning with the belief that access to extraordinary education maximizes personal and intellectual growth. We tailor our tutoring program to the challenges that students in under-served communities commonly encounter and take the steps to address these gaps by fostering belongingness and facilitating meaningful change. Our ultimate goal is to close the achievement gap and help every student persevere.

•We are proud to be partnering with Summit Preparatory Charter High School to provide tutors for their diverse student population. Students at Summit Prep have access to a high-quality college preparatory curriculum with an additional focus on developing their intellectual, emotional, and social capabilities. Throughout high school, students at Summit Prep work one-on-one with their mentors and in peer groups to develop and exhibit their six core characteristics: Courage, Compassion, Curiosity, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility. We at Ignite the Mind are looking forward to supplementing and strengthening each and every one of these core characteristics with the work of our amazing tutors and staff.
