Engineering from a bygone era. 🎻🎹

In the early 20th century, the Mills Novelty Company of Chicago achieved the unthinkable: a fully mechanical, coin-operated machine that flawlessly plays a real violin and piano simultaneously.

Of the surviving examples left in the world, the “Bow Front” cabinet variant is by far the most coveted, with only 21 machines known to exist. We are incredibly honored to present Serial Number 63, perfectly restored and maintained as part of the prestigious Sanfilippo Place De La Musique collection.
