High performers understand that team leadership requires self-leadership first. They intentionally create habits that help them show up with clarity, focus, consistency, and presence. That means getting enough rest, moving their body consistently, protecting their mental inputs, and fueling themselves with things that build energy.
This is important because you cannot give others that which you are not experiencing yourself. If you are consistently exhausted, or have a negative attitude, you will transfer that to the team you're leading.
Be honest, are you getting enough sleep? Are you moving enough each day? Are you operating intentionally, or simply surviving the week?
If you feel off mentally, physically, or professionally, reach out by dropping me a DM or visiting my website. I want to help you create a plan that helps you lead with more energy, focus, and intention, not only for you but the people that are following you.
