As your State Representative, I successfully fought to break up the cable and broadband franchise monopoly because I believed then, and I still believe today, that rural Tennessee deserves the same opportunities as anywhere else.
Tennessee and Bedford County have made tremendous progress. Today, Bedford County is an 8 Gig Certified Community, but our work is not finished.
High-speed internet creates opportunity. It supports education, jobs, healthcare, agricultural innovation, small business growth, and economic prosperity. Connectivity is no longer a luxury, broadband is essential infrastructure.
As your County Mayor, I will continue working until every home, every farm, and every rural community has access to affordable, reliable high-speed internet.
