Yesterday’s shelving was wild, y’all.

We had FOUR huge donations come in full of adult books, kids books, popular titles, weird little gems, and a bunch of absolute bangers that hit the shelves immediately.

And apparently y’all were paying attention because 3 of the books in this reel are already gone 👀

One of the best parts about a used bookstore is that the shelves are constantly changing. You never know what’s going to walk through the door or what you’ll find waiting for you when you stop in.

We’ll be open today through Saturday from 12–7 PM — come dig through the new arrivals before everyone else does.

Nomad Used Bookstore carries THOUSANDS of used books, priced for accessibility.

✅ our children’s and young adult books are FREE. No purchase necessary.

✅ we have $2 books located right outside the shop’s front door on two, full library carts.

✅ we have $4 book racks located inside, right by the “New Orleans & The Gulf” shelves & the “Classics” shelves.

We are located at 501 Seguin St in Algiers Point, New Orleans. A few blocks from the Algiers Ferry terminal.

We are open Wednesday - Saturday, 12pm - 7pm.

Don’t forget to stop in for your next read, and make sure to pet a kitty on your way out ❤️

This isn’t even CLOSE to all of the books my cousin, Allie, and my mom, Jackie, have been collecting and storing in Michigan for us. 😭📚

Sorting through these piles has been so much fun and honestly, they’ve become Nomad’s unofficial book buyers up north at this point.

Now Steve and I are trying to figure out what gets priority to head back to the shop first… which is proving to be VERY difficult because there are so many good ones in here.

👀 So now we need opinions:
What books or genres do y’all want us to prioritize bringing back to Nomad first?

Because this basement is absolutely loaded.
