YOU CAN DO IT! FIGHT FOR YOUR DREAM
We, as usual, rocked at the YOU CAN DO IT by USGuide last weekend because we always fight for our dream! In addition to my personal sharing on my own experience in preparing for the departure to US to pursue my dream, I proudly represented Smeal MBA, Penn State University, my home for the next 02 exciting years. At the booth carefully prepared by USGuide team (I am impressed by your great preparation for the event!)
Frequently asked question I received is ‘When should you start your MBA in US?’ Well, you will only do your MBA once in a lifetime so be a smart person in planning your own life. 2-5 year working experience seems to be the best time for most people to do the MBA. Why? If you do it too early such as less than 02 year experience, you may not be ready to absorb the management knowledge and skill set. If you do it too late, admission committee may question you why, especially if you haven’t got any cool title at a managerial level yet. Unless you have a strong reason to respond, they may turn you down because they won’t take people doing MBA hoping it to boost your ‘normal’ career. So be smart in your planning.
If you wonder MBA or Master? Well, if you wish to deepen your knowledge in a specific industry, a Master will definitely suit you rather than an MBA. As mentioned above, you will do your MBA just once in a lifetime, so only do it once you are ready.
Good luck!
