BEACN UC Berkeley’s premier student-run, non-profit strategy consulting organization focused on sustainability and social responsibility.

Started as a UC Berkeley group to bring together students across disciplines, BEACN is a growing network of individuals who gain business and professional skills and apply these to unique and critical questions at the intersection of business and sustainability. BEACN has grown as a thriving organization on UC Berkeley campus, attracting applicants from every college at UC Berkeley. Together, the

dedicated members of this organization work on semester long consulting projects with firms from the Bay Area and beyond to solve complex problems which are on the cutting edge of industry and environmental sustainability. We recruit new Associate Consultants at the beginning of each semester. BEACN provides an opportunity for students to learn new skills for managing data, creating synthesized reports, and presenting that information to top professionals in environmental services, industry, and government. We look for clients who are in need of consulting services for a technical problem or to weigh the proposal of a new product or service. We work with companies from local start ups to Fortune 500 companies and are eager to take on new clients reshaping services and goods which are both innovative and environmentally-conscious. BEACN continues to grow and build our network as we continue to gain committed students who develop and apply professional skills to each project.
