New house site going in Black Mountain, NC! 🏡

Started digging footings and ran into an underground spring. When you build in the mountains, you never know what you’re going to find! To make sure this foundation is built right, we’re widening the excavation to 3 feet, burrito wrapping it with non-woven fabric, and installing 2 feet of #57 stone for proper drainage and stability.

Doing it right the first time is what matters.

We’re moving 50+ loads of fill and around 15 loads of #57 stone on this job. On top of that, we’re building a massive retaining wall along the backside to properly support and stabilize everything for the long haul.
