Indys Best Towing is looking for a reliable, organized Tow Truck Dispatcher to join our team in Indianapolis. You’ll be the communication hub between customers and drivers—coordinating calls, dispatching trucks, and making sure every customer gets fast, professional service.
Responsibilities



• Answer incoming calls from customers, law enforcement, and partner shops



• Gather accurate information: location, vehicle details, and type of service needed



• Dispatch tow trucks based on location, availability, and urgency



• Communicate clearly with drivers via phone, text, and/or radio



• Monitor jobs, ETAs, and statuses using our dispatch process/software



• Prioritize emergency and high-urgency calls



• Maintain accurate call, job, and dispatch records



• Provide calm, professional, and courteous customer service at all times




Requirements



• Previous dispatch experience in towing, roadside assistance, trucking, taxi, or similar field preferred (willing to train the right person)



• Strong communication and multitasking skills



• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment



• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch software



• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work assigned full-time shifts (may include evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on business needs)



• Knowledge of Indianapolis and surrounding areas is a plus



• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
