Why laminate printed vinyl? 🤔
➡️A lot of people see the finished graphic, decal, or sign and never realize there’s an entire step that helps protect it before it ever gets installed.
⚽️For this project, we’re applying a matte overlaminate to FIFA 2026 graphics that will be used for a combination of signage and custom decals for our client.
😎Lamination does much more than change the finish. It acts as a protective layer that helps guard printed graphics against scratches, scuffs, abrasion, handling, moisture, UV exposure, and everyday wear and tear. Without lamination, even the best print can be vulnerable during transportation, installation, and long-term use.
📽️In this reel, you’re watching our laminator apply a matte laminate over the printed vinyl. The laminator uses pressure to bond the laminate evenly across the graphic, creating a smooth, protected surface while preserving print quality and color consistency.
Why choose matte laminate?
✔️ Reduces glare and reflections
✔️ Creates a premium, professional appearance
✔️ Helps hide fingerprints and minor surface imperfections
✔️ Makes graphics easier to view under bright lighting
✔️ Adds durability to decals, signage, wall graphics, and branded environments

One of the most common questions we get is: “Do I really need laminate?” In most commercial applications, the answer is yes. Lamination is often what separates a graphic that looks great for weeks from one that continues looking great for months or years.
From decals and branding elements to large-format signage and event graphics, protecting the print is just as important as producing it.
