⚠️ ALERT ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️
I will most likely offend you with my language, so read on at your own risk! 😅
I am a Christ follower who strives (and fails) to live out my faith daily. I start every morning with nearly an hour of devotion before anything else, reaching out to God, my Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. I've learned the POWER of the Holy Spirit, therefore, I've learned now to invite the Holy Spirit in my mornings to be present throughout my day, to guide me in ALL that I do—always aiming to live in a way that I encourage and draw people who aren’t Christians ...closer to God. But I don’t do this by acting “holier-than-thou.”
I believe in being REAL, which means I don’t get easily offended (I hope you don't either 😇 by “foul language,” even from fellow Christians.
Here’s the deal: I regularly (amongst people that I feel comfortable around) use words like 🥶😶🌫️“sh*t” and “f**k” 😱when I'm in face-to-face conversations. But when I’m writing, I’ll try to be nicer and use "S**T" and "PHUCK/PHUK" instead.
When I do used those words, I do not mean them in a vulgar or sexual way. I use them as adjectives to express strong emotions and add emphasis.
So don't come at me quoting Ephesians 4:29 which says... "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Words like “sh*t” and “f**k,”might be unwholesome to you, but not to the non-believers. So I believe I can resonate more clearly with most non-Christian or Christians that aren't so "upetty" or "holier-than-thou" in being a "regular guy" who is a Christian, using words of encouragement, faith, and sometimes scripture to connect with others authentically.
For many non-believers, these 2 words come across as real, raw, and relatable.
(Heck, I've had plenty of conversations with a few of my pastors, and even they (privately) let them out! 😂)
I use these words to connect as a "regular guy" who is "a Christian", showing authenticity and faith to reach those who might think Christianity is too "stuffy."
If that offends you, I get it, but my focus is not offending other Christians, it's always on honoring God, trying to disciple and help and encourage others find their way to Him—even if my style is a bit unconventional (for most Christians. ✌️😊)
I’m a husband, father of 4, and now I'm a young grandpa (turning 59 in a few day September 8) to two boys—one just under 1 year old and the other who recently turned 2. My kids grew up seeing me strive to be the best Christian example possible while being honest about my imperfections. I know God’s grace covers it all, and He knows my heart.
I've been a real estate broker for over 40 years (yes, I started at 18! 😂). During the 2008 market crash, I became known as the "ROBIN HOOD of Foreclosures & Real Estate" for helping homeowners avoid losing their homes. (An 83 year old lady dubbed me that 😇) . I’ve faced foreclosure myself and learned to navigate the process without relying on an expensive attorney.
Today, I'm focused on Pre-Foreclosures and helping families and investors not lose their property. I’m still active in real estate but more selective, high-end clients with properties valued at $1 million or more. I’ve also been a licensed mortgage broker since 1983.
Current situation is learning Ai and putting it to work within my niche (correctly pronounced "neesh" 😄)
INTERESTING TIDBIT:
Back in 2020 during the pandemic, while a fellow marketer Jeffery M. Banek was in my hometown of Miami Beach for over a month, he started something, in which I joined him in on a weekly basis—feeding the homeless people around the neighborhood. After Jeffrey left Miami Beach to other parts of the world, I continued the weekly ritual to serve others. I didn't do it alone; several other entrepreneurs helped along the way. See one of our videos below, as we served people in need. I did this to honor God in His grace and mercy.
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." — Luke 6:38
"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done." — Proverbs 19:17 (NIV)
IN SUMMARY:
1. If my "foul language" style isn’t your thing, don't get offended—I’m just here to be real, always aiming to point people back to God. 🌟
2, You gotta have a sense of humor. Try to find the laughter in everything, ..as long as it's not evil. 😉
