SIEK Art Emily Siek was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Georgia.

Throughout her childhood, Emily's family and teachers were incredibly encouraging and supportive of her creative pursuits. Emily recently moved to Atlanta with her husband and daughter-to-be (arriving this October!) where she now works as a full-time artist. Prior to her move, Emily lived in the Northeastern U.S. since 2011- spending the majority of this time in New York City as an interior designer and artist. Emily's favorite hours are spent behind the easel with brush in hand. She captures the essence of her subjects in her signature style. The whimsical layers of acrylic color and glimpses of texture bring a heartfelt "soul" to her paintings. Having dedicated the past ten years to commissioned portraits of children, Emily has since broadened her portfolio to include commissioned paintings of pets. She is also working on a series of painted acrylic beetles on paper. You can find her latest completed commissions and works for sale on Instagram (), Facebook, and her website: www.emilysiek.com
