Innovative Control Solutions, LLC is a small business in Vancouver, WA. We design and manufacture UL 508A control panels for various industrial applications, primarily for heat-related processes, including boilers, furnaces, and ovens for burner management and combustion controls. Our customers are varied, including manufacturing plants in the chemical, wood, and food industries, etc.
Our office located in Vancouver, Washington is looking for an onsite Electrical 508A Panel Shop Supervisor to join our Team! You will have the opportunity to make a strong contribution to our well-established company.
As an Electrical Panel Shop Supervisor at Innovative Control Solutions, LLC you will:
Certify, manage, and lead a UL508A industrial control panel fabrication shop for industrial control panel assemblies
Work closely with Engineering
Read and interpret electrical engineering drawings
Be responsible for ensuring materials are organized and ready for electrical assembly, including procurement of required components
Order panel equipment hardware from vendors
Maintain an organized, clean, lean, and efficient industrial control panel fabrication shop
Perform panel layout, assembly, and wiring of UL 508A industrial control panels
Perform inspection and quality assurance processes of industrial control panel fabrication to insure UL508a criteria is met
Set up panel testing in test area
Prepare equipment for shipping and delivery
Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining maturity and accountability
Study and become UL508A Manufacturer Technician Representative (MTR) qualified
On occasion, perform assistance in field work
Arrive at work on time and maintain good attendance
Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Experience building electrical panels
Familiarity with the safe operation of basic hand tools and testing equipment
Strong attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office programs (ex. Excel, Outlook)
Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
High School Diploma or GED
Be able to lift 35+ pounds.

Desired, but not required:
UL508A Manufacturer Technician Representative (MTR) qualified
Welding experience
Comfortable loading and unloading equipment using a fork truck
Pipefitting experience
