C12 Central Texas C12 - Central Texas serves CEOs/Owners/Executive Directors/Presidents of businesses in San Antonio, Austin, New Braunfels and the Hill Country.

What does God want from your business, your leadership? How do you connect your Sunday worship to your Monday workplace reality? What does it take for God to say "well done!" at the end of your run? Are you living your true purpose and calling? Is God glorified by your business, your leadership, your life? What does it mean to live an integrated life in Christ? How does being a follower of Jesus effect your business, your decisions, your motivations, your methods, your people, your market? Do you ever feel alone as a leader? Where do you get qualified counsel? These are the questions C12 is about addressing. C12 -Central is helping more than 200 leaders "build GREAT businesses for a GREATER purpose." We believe God is glorified by businesses ran well, ran His way, by His power, for His pleasure and that business can be one of the greatest platforms of ministry not just an economic engine. We equip, encourage, empower, connect, challenge and bring accountability among leaders called to lead God's companies.

Your team spent hours on that report. Did anyone use it?

Before asking for the next one, pause and ask:

• Who needs it?
• What decision does it help them make?
• Is there a simpler way?

A recurring report, an extra approval, a process nobody questions—it all adds up.

Faithful stewardship includes caring for your team’s time. Sometimes leading well means removing work that no longer serves a purpose.

What’s one task you’ve stopped doing that freed up time for what matters?

Leadership can be lonely—even when your calendar is full of people. You’re making decisions, caring for your team, and carrying questions you may not know who to ask.

Community can feel like one more commitment. But time with people who understand the weight of leadership can help you gain perspective, strengthen your faith, and approach a hard decision with greater clarity.

At C12 Central Texas, we see how meaningful it is for faith-driven business owners to have space to be honest, ask for wisdom, and encourage one another.

Before saying yes to the next good thing, pause: what will this ask of you and your team?

Christian business leadership requires honest decisions about limited time and energy. Protecting capacity helps us honor the commitments we’ve already made.

What question could help you pause before your next yes?

What fruit are you making room for?

In John 15, Jesus describes His Father as the gardener who prunes fruitful branches so they bear more fruit. As we abide in Christ, we can ask Him to shape what we hold onto and what we release.

For faith-driven leaders, that reflection can help us examine commitments crowding out what He’s entrusted to us.

Where might God be inviting you to let go and make room for fruitfulness?

That process may have solved a problem your team no longer has.

Faithful stewardship includes evaluating what still advances
the mission and what has outlived its usefulness.

One good opportunity. Then another.

Before long, the weight of our commitments begins to slow us down.

A reductive mindset makes room to ask what we should remove.

For Central Texas business leaders, strategic de-selection means intentionally ending or reducing commitments that no longer advance the mission.

Thought for the week: What have you kept doing simply because you once said yes?

God calls His people to rest even when there’s work to finish.

Even when the opportunity is real.

For Christian business owners in Austin and San Antonio, that invitation meets us right in the middle of our busiest seasons.

You can stop with something unfinished.

There may still be emails waiting and decisions to make. You can care deeply about your business and still set work down.

As you head into the weekend, ask God to help you trust Him with the things you cannot finish today.

Faith-driven leaders, you don’t have to carry it all.

Jesus doesn’t just invite us to hustle harder—He invites us to come to Him, lay down our heavy burdens, and receive His rest.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…” — Matthew 11:28–30

So take a breath. Slow down. Enjoy the rest God has given you. Your business, your people, and your calling don’t depend on you carrying everything alone.

What's been a verse that reminds you to rest in Christ?
