ANXIETY IN MEN, PARTICULARLY BLACK MEN, IS A QUIET PARASITE IN OUR MIND!!!!

Anxiety deals with the experience of pressured anticipation. The idea of being a man, being a real man, being flawed, and the inevitability of making mistakes is literally a burden to bare.

The look within/on a man's face usually presents as a scowl, or a frown, or is misinterpreted as attempting to be intimidating. The pain beneath the depths of that man's thinking is usually repetitive, excessive, and intense memories of utter disapproval. CONTINUOUS, PROLONGED, NEVER ENDING thoughts of "how can I try so much and continue to deal with all....this...failure!?
ALL THE TIME!!!! And I gotta hide it or I'm less than....

It's time to reevaluate what a man is and needs to be. But this time, let's be more flexible. Let's leave the impossible, far fetched, ridiculous myths about 'what a man is' supposed to be in the past.

And if you're not a man, don't tell us to be a man. Because you can barely imagine what it's like....to be a man!
