One of the things we love about art is the stories they tell. For us it is not only the image but with Hal in the shop and his experiences in this world, he always has a story to go along with each piece. This Leroy Neiman Jockey Spades Painting came with a story about Hal having dinner with Leroy Neiman. What an interesting guy.

This is a great little piece on a matching backdrop.

For 80 years this painting has been collecting memories and dirt and grime. It was originally a gift to celebrate the birth of a baby girl. It came with a note instructing that only the adults drink the schnapps that accompanied it. It later traveled from it's home in Germany to Des Moines where the owner's daughter entrusted Hal to clean it and reframe it.
