Meet the BCBA: Amy ✨
We’re excited to introduce Amy Palacios, one of the newest BCBAs on the Transformative ABA team! She currently is assigned to help out both Corpus Christi and the Uvalde location.
Before joining us, Amy worked as a BCBA Intern and Clinical Manager at an ABA center. Her love for ABA comes from two of her favorite things: kids and science. She has always loved working with children, but what truly drew her to the field was seeing how individualized ABA can help teach life-changing skills.
Amy’s favorite part of working with children is celebrating progress, especially the “little” wins that can make a big difference. She loves helping kids build skills, gain independence, and thrive in ways that are meaningful to them and their families.
At Transformative ABA, Amy is most excited to continue growing as a behavior analyst, deepen her understanding of behavior, and learn from her team so she can better support the children and families we serve.
Outside of work, Amy is a proud Houston, Texas native. She loves reading, playing cozy video games, antique and vintage shopping, and recently started running. She also has quite the crew at home: two pitbulls, Kimbo and Spot; three cats, Wilfred, Mia, and Phoebe; and a fish tank with around 15 fish!
A few fun facts about Amy: she loves hot chips, especially Hot Funyuns, Hot Cheetos, and Takis. Her favorite TV show is Bob’s Burgers, she loves Adam Sandler movies, and she enjoys riding dirt bikes and going off-roading. She’s also an all-day beverage person: coffee in the morning, Alani in the afternoon, and tea in the evening.
Amy would love to visit Japan someday, and her current favorite book is Alchemised.
Please help us give Amy a warm welcome! 💙
