Independent Contractor Job Offer

Arizona Courier Expediter is interested in contracting with two to three additional Independent Contractors, who provide, or are willing to provide “Hot-shot” courier services in the Tucson area.

This is extremely suitable to those with extra time on their hand and wish to make some additional money. While this work contract offer is job dependent, and not always predictable, current Independent Contractors can make between $20 and $40 per hour for their services to Arizona Courier Expediter.

This is not an Employer/Employee relationship.

Interested ?

You must meet the following minimum requirements before entering into a contracting obligation with Arizona Courier Expediter:

1. Own your own pick-up truck (minimum half ton) or comparable vehicle, i.e. Heavy Duty van, including necessary tools, equipment, materials to safely transport products from pick up to the final destination.

a. The service offered requires that all vehicles owned by the independent contractor are in top maintenance shape, and are able to endure long distance traveling, up to 8 hours minimum driving time one way.

b. Vehicle insurance requirements include a liability insurance of not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), and “Broad Form Motor Truck Cargo insurance” of not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00).

c. Trailer is a plus.

2. CDL is NOT required.

3. 24/7 availability, every day of the year, with the understanding there will be times of unavailability by the Independent Contractor.

a. This job requires OUTSTANDING reliability on the part of the Independent Contractor. Almost all jobs have a strict time of pickup and delivery requirement, which MUST be met every time.

b. Jobs offered normally require a 30 minute response time from the initial call for pick-up and immediate delivery to final destination.

4. MSHA certification, and ownership of all applicable Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

5. Able to obtain an STA # from the Transportation Security Administration for deliveries to commercial passenger airlines.
