Jasmijn arrived in Los Angeles from the Netherlands for college—and years later, just as she was preparing to return to Europe, she met Gunnar.

Some stories feel written in fate, but theirs is equally defined by intention. A life built on choosing joy, again and again.

Married on Saturday at Alisal Ranch, their celebration was radiant, and deeply personal.

Our Values have always been front and center for all to see. We were raised to be kind and compassionate, open to learning about the world and those who seem different from us. We are proudly trying to do the same for our two boys.

The world is so very heavy right now but what gives us hope is spending time with the helpers in our community. This past summer, I was gifted a camera from my friend’s personal collection. I grew up spending countless hours in any dark room I could find - film was my first love. But honestly? I haven’t been excited to shoot film in years, digital took over, owning a business took over, and life moved on.

This camera, though… It gave me space to rediscover that Love. To slow down. To feel curious again.

Here are a few frames I shot freely, with no expectations, at Emma and Christian‘s Beano‘s cabin Beavercreek wedding this fall. Frame #2-as perfectly imperfect that film can be- ended up being my favorite. I’m curious which one is yours.

Last Saturday Tiffany and Derik were married on top of the mountain in hail, rain, wind, and sun. But they got married and I witnessed such a rare form of love and happiness.
