Krueger Lumber Company is looking for an office manager. Our current manager Sue is wonderful, but leaving us. Thank God she is willing to train the right person. The candidate duties will include but not limited to: filing payroll taxes, perform month end reconciliation in Sage accounting, prepare and follow up on Krueger Lumber Company employees profit sharing and pension plan, invoice customers, generate delivery slips, use Microsoft products, track expenses to appropriate logging contracts, and more. Fox 11, tv came to Krueger Lumber company. Wisconsin and the USA in general produces a lot more than can be consumed here. We need to sell some of our products overseas The tariffs on the hardwood lumber made here in Wisconsin are hurting the forest industry.

Efficient transportation for our state and for our industry is critical. This bill, if passed would allow trucks to haul the same weight on the interstate, as they haul on the state roads.

There is a common misconception among some of the public. That timber harvesting is cutting all of forests. That the USA is running out of wood. Nothing can be further from the truth. There are more trees falling over and rotting, than are being harvested. This is a tragedy. Harvesting trees captures their carbon as lumber for furniture, flooring, house building, toilet paper, etc. Letting the trees fall over and rot is not only a waste, those rotting trees release their CO2 greenhouse gas up into the atmosphere. The US Forest Service is expanding the amount of forest land eligible for harvest. This is way overdue !!
