What do you know about Sister Cities? They have been around since 1956 when Prez Eisenhower established the Act. Valdosta's Sister City is Constanza. Located in the Dominican Republic it is a treasure to visit and experience. Come join us on March 31! If you are unable to make the trip then come and learn about our Sister City On Feb 8 at 12:00. We are going to have a lunch prepared by ladies from the D.R. To make it fun we will be giving away door prizes such as Dominican coffee, etc. We have room for 50 people and ten have committed. THANK YOU to all of our friends and family who came to help celebrate my birthday and give to Constanza for Christ! Between actual donations and pledges we raised $2,000.00. We have just sent $720 for new student desks for the 5th grade class they are starting in August.

Story # 3 leading to my 70th B Day. After a 3 month stint of a deep depression I was unsuccessful in an attempt in taking my life. Resigned to do something to change the inside of me I resorted to running away when I was 17 and in my senior year I caught a Greyhound bus and traveled to Galveston, Tx and got a job and apartment. However, because the local high school would not allow me to attend I swallowed my pride and went back home to finish school. Check out My B Day Event for May 11th. 50+ are coming but most have not indicated on FB. Next story will be how I found Jesus! Can't come - Please celebrate by donating to my favorite ministry!

#1 Did you know? In leading to my 70th Birthday Bash I will be sharing unique stories.
My Mother passed away when she was 33 leaving my dad with 7 children to raise. I was 2 and a half at the time. What a life God has allowed me to live thus far. Please message me if you can come to our multicultural celebration on May 11th! Food from different cultures as I have been blessed with friends from many walks of life.

Celebrating 70 Years of Life, Love, and Service

🎉 As I approach the significant milestone of turning 70 on May 11th, I'm filled with gratitude for a journey that has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Reflecting on my life, from the turmoil of my teenage years, through a transformative period in the USAF, to finding my soulmate in Connie, every step has been guided by divine grace.

My path led me to serve in various capacities, planting churches, and later extending my ministry to the marketplace with organizations like Marketplace Chaplains USA and CBMC. These experiences have been enriching, but the most recent chapter in Constanza, Dominican Republic, holds a special place in my heart. Here, I've witnessed the power of faith and community in planting churches, revitalizing a grade school, and establishing the Valdosta Bible Seminary.

🎈 I invite you all to join me in a celebration that transcends just a birthday party – it’s a gathering of unity, diversity, and purpose. We’ll enjoy a potluck with dishes from the many walks of life represented by my cherished friends and family. Let's share in the joy of fellowship, reflecting the spectrum of our collective journeys.

MEN: I have been blessed to have ministered in the Amazon jungle for ten years. While there I met Fabio, a young man sold out to Jesus preaching Jesus. Last week he entered a village where everyone is involved in the drug trafficking trade. Upon entering some men put a gun to his head demanding to know why he was there. He replied that I am here to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. They buffeted him, laughed and let him in. As you can imagine Fabio was nervous and fearful for his life. Nevertheless he preached and several came to Christ. This is how Fabio seeks the Kingdom of God. We don’t deal with those type of situations but nonetheless at times are confronted with fear and nervousness in sharing the gospel. Let me encourage you to come and learn how you can seek the kingdom of God in your space. March 7th we will have an Informational Meeting for Leaders of a business, nonprofit or a church. The objective will be how we can seek His kingdom first in our lives, in the organization we are privileged to lead and in our community. The group will be called Trusted Advisors.
