2024 Friendly reminder to the self employed:

Make sure you are making your estimated tax payment is you are not on payroll through your own company (e.g. sub corporation) to avoid being hit with self employment taxes you did not pay as you would on the pay as you go system like wage earners do. Estimated tax payment can help you now owe for self employment tax when you file year end.

Friendly reminder for 2024:

Wage earners should review their withholdings to ensure they are having enough withheld from their income(pay checks). It is done by completing form W4 certificate for federal and state(if applicable) and submitting an update with your employer asap.
