VALCORE Recycling is a 501c (3) non-profit recycling center. Our focus is public education, community building and landfill diversion. In addition to running a buyback/donation center, VALCORE also provides an integrated setting that enables individuals with disabilities to gain confidence through work experience and employment. Onsite, we have a reuse area which houses donated items which are ava

ilable, at no charge, to teachers, artists and community members. (**Temporarily Closed**) Offsite, VALCORE provides “zero waste” services at local events. Staffing requirements are met, in part, by other non-profit agencies and we provide funding for them in return.

Too much paper in your life? Get it shredded this Saturday!
The City of Vallejo and VALCORE Recycling sponsor shredding events on the 3rd Sat of each month. The next one will be this Saturday, August 15! See your paper shredded while the truck is on site.
Hours: 10 am – 2 pm
Cost: ~$.50/lb with a $10 minimum charge
Payment: Cash or check only; no bills larger than $20.
Location: VALCORE Recycling, 38 Sheridan St in Vallejo (off Solano Ave, one block west of Curtola Parkway.)
Procedure: Pull as far forward as you can so staff can come to your car to collect your paper. Paper clips and staples are acceptable. No binders, large binder clips, CD/DVD’s, X-Rays or other non-paper items, please.
