Unpopular Opinion Alert:
Many small business owners/entrepreneurs created a job for themselves and not a business.

What do I mean by that?

I mean, that when you open yourself a business, you think that you are getting away from corporate America, getting away from set hours and giving you flexibility in having time off.

Most people do not realize, that if you don't work, you don't get paid (no sick time or paid vacations).

If you don't wear all the hats and do all the things, the needle doesn't move.

If you do not delegate, you are having to do everything.

Bookkeeping, marketing, social media, invoicing, AND the craft that you are being hired for. That doesn't include networking, customer relations, relationship building, data entry, and so much more.

Most people that go into business for themselves are spending twice the amount of time working than they were before with less to show for it.

In other words, you created a job for yourself that is holding you prisoner. You are starting to not like your business or your life and you don't want to admit it.

Building a business takes Operational Systems and Structure. It is not a one person show. Building a business with infrastructure means that the business will still run while you are not behind the desk. You can take a day off or a week off and travel with your family without worrying about how you will make payroll.
