I was asked to create a retirement pen with case from a friend that purchased a pen from me. I marked out the name to not spoil the surprise. Case and the pen are made from African Padauk. Beautiful wood but super hard. The pen is a bullet with bolt action plunger.

Tried my hand on making a wood epoxy ring. Not bad for second try, the first try shattered. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ll have to pour some more of these and try different woods. This one is marble wood and turquoise epoxy.
