Today I pause to honor and remember a remarkable group of set decorators whose talent, creativity, and dedication helped shape the worlds we saw on screen. Through their artistry, they transformed empty spaces into memorable places, creating environments that brought stories to life and enriched the magic of film and television. I so honor working with all of them.

These men and women were more than decorators. They were visual storytellers. Their work often went unnoticed by audiences, yet every room, every set, every carefully chosen piece of furniture, artwork, lamp, and decorative object helped define the mood and authenticity of the productions they served.
Many worked behind the scenes for decades, collaborating with directors, production designers, prop houses, furniture dealers, and craftspeople throughout Hollywood. Their influence can be found in countless films and television programs that continue to entertain and inspire audiences around the world.
As members of the film community, we are indebted to their vision, craftsmanship, professionalism, and passion. Their contributions remain woven into the history of motion pictures and television, and their legacy lives on through the work they created and the generations they inspired.
May they be remembered with gratitude, respect, and admiration.
