Good morning to all the Van Auction's loyal followers and friends. I was just reading over some of Col. Bill's older ads for the Friday night auctions and I decided to write a little note today. We surely miss those days when we all could meet in the auction house for a sale. They are very fond memories now, but we make new memories each week with the on-line sale and pick up days. It is always good to meet friends and families.
Springtime is here, the skies are beautiful, the trees are greening, and the flowers are blooming... it is lovely! Col. Bill is going to the auction house today to flea market for a while. Stop by to say "Hello" and shop a little...that will make his day bright!! We appreciate all of you hope you have a great day! Donna.

Good morning from the Van Auction, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying these beautiful days now that most of us have some extra time on our sanitized hands. The springtime is so exciting with the new life coming out again, the flowers and trees, the birds and peepers, the good weather ….
I thought you might all like to have and update on Naomi and Martha. Naomi is doing a little better, but still homebound like the rest of us. Martha has improved and is now at the rehabilitation center at Lick Creek and wishing she were home too. We surely miss them and we miss seeing all of you each week. We pray that a better day will come soon.
Tomorrow is Palm Sunday and some have suggested that we put "palm" branches on our doors, but I just am wondering where to find the "palms" although it sounded like a good idea. Well, we will do the best we can and praise the LORD for all the blessings He sends us and I do ask God to bless you all.

We hope you had a great day celebrating the 243 birthday of America. What a great country we live in and we remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Thank you.
If you are still remembering, don't forget that the Van Auction will be having another great auction tonight in Van, WV beginning at 7:00 pm. Col. Bill and all the crew sure appreciate you supporting us with your attendance and your bids. We hope to see you there.
If you are spending lots of time outdoors here are some interesting items you will find to bid on: yard ornaments, umbrellas, decorative stars with lights, cargo carriers, B-B guns, citronella candles, windmills, fishing rods, and pet toys. The colonel will also call for bids on air fryers, car mats, paper shredders, crock pots, assorted detergents, clocks, food stuff, and Atkins milk shakes. He has refrigerators ranging in size from 1.6 to 4.5 cubic feet, and lots more.
Come on out to the Van Auction for a fun time with great friends and an entertaining shopping experience. Tammy will be there with those delicious snacks and free popcicles!

Here are just a few pictures of some of the fathers who we see each week. Tonight, June 14, 2019, at the Van Auction we will take time to tell the dads that we appreciate and care about them and we wish them all a very "Happy Fathers' Day."
Col. Bill has been working hard to gather some great items to offer for bids tonight. The sale starts at 7:00 p.m. and here is a list of some of the merchandise he will chant about: small refrigerators and freezers, vegetable slicers, camp tables, and various food items; pet supplies, such as toys, lead ropes, and water/food bowls; detergent products (Dawn for dishes, Gain, Tide, and Downy for laundry); paper shredders, mini-wireless w**d eaters, new flashlights, primitive lighted metal stars; bath bombs and gallon size jugs of Dove body wash. Lots of great items!
Come on out to share a unique shopping experience, enjoy delicious hotdogs and more, and visit with your friends and ours. We are looking forward to seeing you tonight at the Van Auction House.

This could be the night! You could win $100 cash at the Van Auction tonight, August 17, 2018. The sale starts at 7:00 pm and the first business of the evening is the drawing. You must be present to win, so be on time if you can.
Kenney B. will be there early to unload his merchandise and he says it is "the best load he has ever had." He will be selling some hard goods first and then groceries. Here is a partial list of the things you will be able to buy tonight: assorted pizzas, lunch meats, vegetables, cheeses and frozen dinners; REAL butter; rolls, garlic bread, spare ribs, ground beef, roasts, brats, sausage; Tyson chicken, Armour meat balls, apple pies, and lots more. You will be able to set the prices with your bids and buy what you like. Each purchase will give you another chance to win $100 next month.
We will be expecting to see you there and waiting for your arrival. Come on out for a relaxing and entertaining evening of shopping fun in a friendly atmosphere.

The colonel has been waiting for that call from Troy Page and it finally came. Troy is feeling some better and will be at the Van Auction House this evening, August 11, 2018, with a load of merchandise. He will be undergoing more treatments later, but for now he is mobile again. The sale will start at 5:00 pm and all those fans will be running on high for your comfort.
Troy gave Col. Bill a partial list of things he plans to sell tonight: laser light shows, head phones, kitchen knives, lock-n-lock, 100 ft. water hoses, security lights, area rugs, small appliances, fans, air fryers, air conditioner, and lots more.
Come on out for a fun evening of shopping, talking with friends, tasty foods, and great service. The sale will begin at 5:00 pm and we will be watching for your arrival.

What a great day! Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 is a great day to come out to the Van Auction House for a shopping experience that is unique and lots of fun. The sale will start at 7:00pm with a drawing for $10.00 off on your purchases and will close with another drawing for $10.00 off. You could actually get a "purchase" for free!
Tonight, Col. Bill will be calling for bids on many good items. They are all new and you will set the price for each item with your bids. Here are some of the things you can bid on: sunflowers (artificial), LED camp lights, flags, trellis, lawn food, beach umbrellas, inspirational quilts, food items, kitchen items (pressure cooker, crock pot, red copper mugs, microwaves ….) tart burners, sword sets, tools, sheets, comforters, and lots more.
Tammy, Shirley, & Sophie will be on hand with those delicious hotdogs and fudge; Jerry, Ora, and Randy will be there to work the floor and help you load your purchases; the rest of the Van Auction staff will be around also and eager to shout "Howdy" and help you any way they can. We will be watching for you at the Van Auction!
