I'm being reminded that I do not post often enough. I actually kind of forget that we have a business page. Robin and I are still here; and accepting new clients. We are not too busy, and can take on anything that we choose. My preference is always for Longshore, but we do MS workers comp, and other personal injury too. We do general legal. I still have one of my Poms here every day; today its Tommy. Feel free to call or come see us if you need legal services in the Vancleave (or other) area. I didn't write a lot of the stuff on here. It's a bit "canned"; looks OK though. We don't do contested divorces; only Irreconcilable Differences ones. I do mostly worker's compensation, state and Longshoreman's Act. We do cash sale real estate closings and I handle land dispute and zoning cases. Ideally, employers and insurance companies would pay benefits for employees injured at work promptly and without argument. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. Because employers and insurance companies often try to deny or minimize benefits, it's important to have a good lawyer on your side who can help make sure you're treated fairly.

Most states mandate that employers must carry workers' compensation insurance. Why? It provides basic protections for both workers and employers. There are exceptions, however. Some small businesses are exempt, and some states make insurance coverage optional.
