So, who am I and what the hell qualifies me to pass judgment? I started out as a casual diner with something to say, and was not shy about the opinions. If I liked something, I raved about it. If I disliked something, I let people know what was a different choice. And some started responding to this. Getting private kitchen tours, meeting chefs and restaurant owners. Friends and family started ask

ing for recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Suddenly this turned into a concierge service, of sorts. And I am a plant based eater. You may just think this is just a casual thing I'm passionate at, but it’s really more of my hearts’ desires, to share some of the most satisfying dining I have had in Vancouver, Clark County and the Portland Metro area and beyond. The rating system I work with is, of course, of my own make. It spawned out of a need for the senses to be fulfilled. I realized that all of the senses and food choices or options will not be met to my full satisfaction at every establishment visited. But if it gets close, watch me cuss (rated PG) my heads off in excitement! (Vegan and Plant Based)

We had the opportunity to tour Finex Cast Iron Works in Portland today. I'm lusting after their products. I freaking love the vision, quality and inspiration of the company. Healthy design and handsome finish. Attention to all the details following craftsman longing for rugged perfection. The laid back feeling that you get when a product is made right.
