DogHouse lost a family member and amazing human being on Thursday, with the passing of Brenden Williams. 😔
This man is the type of person that makes you proud just to have him on your team, and it is a tremendous loss as he departs.
When you lose someone like Brenden it reminds you that time is so valuable, so sparse, and leaves you in remorse that you didn't spend more of it outside of work getting to know this person on a more personal level. He was an intelligent man with a humongous heart for ALL things living. The entirety of us experience this loss, whether YOU knew him or not. Although my soul is enriched in having known him, I will regret not having more time with him for the rest of my life.
Brenden was a selfless and caring individual and a champion for animals. On Friday his brothers told me a story about him watching JAWS as a child and crying when jaws met his demise from humans intruding in the sharks home. Around that same time in the early 80's King Kong fell from the empire state building on tv and Brenden was again distraught that the attacking gorilla, which had ransacked the city, had fell to the ground... that is SO Brenden, always a huge heart. I believe he also retained a bit of that same child at heart, as you could hear it in his infectious laugh as an adult.
We are honored to take his two cats Natasha and Harlee Quinzel as DogHouse family. It will take some time, but they will open up, and we will spoil them rotten in his honor.
Godspeed Mr Williams, we will miss you and your hilarious and contagious laugh. ❤️ 😇
