We are so excited for this special international celebrity book group! Nazeeha Saeed is a journalist from Bahrain and the Middle East/North Africa Coordinator for OutRight Action International, a LGBTQI rights organization. She also leads the very successful Middle East Media Project, which educates and advocates for reduced bias on LGBTQI reporting.

The Bride of Amman, a controversial bestseller when first published in Arabic, examines the lives of four women and one gay man in Jordan’s capital city Amman. Fadi Zaghmout confronts issues that continue to challenge women and LGBTQI populations worldwide in the quest for love and belonging. Tell Me A Story is an event illustrating The Children's Book Bank's belief that books have the power to open minds, spark the imagination and change lives. In the spirit of The Moth Radio Hour, experienced storytellers will share five-minute personal stories based on the theme "The Book That Got Me Through." The evening will be hosted virtually and feature bidding on our signature Pop-Up Celebrity Book Groups.
