Pay attention for your children’s sake!
No Lives Matter, a nihilistic violent extremist group, changed leadership on 24 August and posted a photograph of rifles and ammunition arranged on a bed to spell the group's initials. The caption read "It's time to kill."
The post ran on an NLM-branded Telegram channel in English and Russian. It named a handle, "Kratos," as the new administrator after an interim leader called "Web" stepped back, and promoted planned cells in the United States, Germany, England, Italy, Romania, Greece and France. The same post announced collaboration with Maniac Murder Cult, or MKY, and called a rival figure known as "Ruin" a pretender. NLM and MKY both operate under an alliance calling itself the World Terror Coalition.
You will not see these people at your church. They work through Discord, Instagram, Roblox and Telegram, and the child they are after is at home on a phone.
On 19 August the Justice Department announced a 77-year sentence for Kyle William Spitze, 27, of Tennessee, a member of the group 764 and an administrator of a 764 network called Harm Nation. Investigators put his victim count at at least 30 worldwide. Two of those children later took their own lives. It is the longest federal sentence given to a member of one of these groups.
Some of you will read this as internet posturing. Most of what gets posted in these channels is. However, law enforcement and independent researchers have tied No Lives Matter and related networks to multiple school shooting plots and completed attacks, and in 2024 two men were charged as leaders of a comparable Telegram network called the Terrorgram Collection. One of the two was from Idaho.
Give your children's and youth workers the names: 764, Harm Nation, No Lives Matter, Maniac Murder Cult, Terrorgram. A volunteer who hears an unfamiliar handle from a parent should recognize it instead of guessing. Tell parents to watch platforms rather than hours, because the pattern is an adult moving a child out of a game and into a private chat and then asking for things.
