A boy in Colorado grew up on Dolly's books, and now he reads them to his little sister.
His mother, Ciara Fernandez Faber, signed Aster up for the Imagination Library about eight years ago. A book came every month until he turned five. His favorite for years was one Dolly wrote herself, "I Am a Rainbow," about feelings. His mother said they read it almost every night and acted out the faces.
Now Maya is getting her own, and Aster reads to her.
Ciara told the BBC why it matters. When a family has to choose between gas, electric, food, or a book, they pick the thing they need. Dolly made it so they never had to choose.
