Giving back to our community is always time well spent!

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to volunteer at the SW Washington Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program Charity Golf Tournament. ⛳

We were stationed at Hole 7 for the Closest to the Pin game, and despite the cold and rainy start to the day, we had an amazing time connecting with golfers, fellow volunteers, and supporting such an important cause.

Meet Sara Uhacz, founder of Uhacz Business Support Services.

Sara was born in San Diego. Her father served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. During his final four years of service, the family lived in Norfolk before eventually returning to California.

Sara attended Kindergarten in Norfolk and picked up a little southern accent along the way. Fair warning, it may still come out from time to time, especially when she is talking with someone who has a southern accent.

The family road-tripped from Virginia back to California in their van with plenty of John Denver playing on the radio. Those memories still bring a smile today.
