Saturday I’m in Englewood. Sunday I’m in Venice, in the Tortuga community.

September is giving us plenty of reasons to look up! 🌙✨

Here’s what’s happening in the September skies:

🌙 September 6 — Moon meets Mars
Look toward the eastern sky before sunrise for a thin crescent Moon sitting near reddish Mars.

🌙 September 8 — Moon and Jupiter
Another predawn pairing, with the crescent Moon appearing very close to bright Jupiter.

☄️ September 9 — Epsilon Perseids peak
This is a smaller meteor shower—not a huge sky-filling event—but the nearly moonless sky should make conditions favorable. Your best chance is before dawn, away from bright lights.

🌙 September 14 — Moon and Venus
Look west shortly after sunset to see a thin crescent Moon beside brilliant Venus. This should be one of the prettiest pairings of the month.

✨ September 22 — Venus at peak brightness
Venus will be exceptionally bright in the evening sky. If you see something shining like crazy after sunset, it’s probably Venus—not a UFO. 😂

🍂 September 22 — Autumn equinox
Fall officially begins—even if Southwest Florida completely ignores the temperature memo.

🔭 September 25 — Neptune at opposition
This is the best time of the year to observe Neptune, but you’ll need binoculars or, preferably, a telescope. It won’t be visible to the naked eye.

🌕 September 26 — Harvest Moon
September’s full Moon rises around sunset and should look especially beautiful near the horizon.

🪐 September 27 — Moon meets Saturn
Look for the nearly full Moon sitting close to Saturn in the evening sky.

Now we just need the Florida clouds to cooperate. 😂

First home. First set of keys. One BIG accomplishment! 🔑🏡

Congratulations to my first-time homebuyer! I was honored to represent him through the purchase of his very first home, but this one felt especially personal—by closing day, it felt a little like watching one of my own kids get his first set of keys.

A big thank-you to Ed Tonitis with Colonial Mortgage and Ranee Polis with First International Title of Port Charlotte for helping us get across the finish line. It truly takes a good team!
