How was Mary Jane Services Network born? 🌱✨
I entered the cannabis industry through my company when a client hired me as a neighborhood liaison for a cultivation project.
🧑🏼🌾👩🏼🌾 Local farmers were fearful and misinformed - there were real concerns about safety, impact, and what this industry would mean for their community.
So we brought people together. 🤝
We coordinated experts across multiple disciplines - legal, environmental, and engineering - and facilitated conversations directly with neighboring farmers. We created space for education, transparency, and collaboration. Together, we worked through concerns like lighting, traffic flow, and shared road use so the project could coexist respectfully within the existing farming community.
What started as fear and opposition turned into understanding and support. 🫶🏼
✅ The project was approved locally.
From there, we stepped into managing the full licensing process - coordinating engineers, environmental studies, architects, and extensive documentation required for the multiple step approval process. We attended continuous meetings with the city and county departments and agencies to fulfill requirements and compliance.
After successfully navigating that process, I was encouraged to turn this work into a business.
Nearly nine years later, that journey has grown and continues to help operators - get licensed, stay compliant, and focus on running their businesses. ⚖️🌳💼📈
And for me, this work is deeply personal. - I lost my uncle after he was denied a liver transplant because of medical cannabis use, at a time when it wasn’t accepted or understood as medicinal.
That experience drives my belief that safe, legal access matters, and that building a compliant, responsible industry is work worth doing. 💚 We are here to support all activities in the industry from seed to sale, from concept to compliant.
