What a great February COS meeting with world renowned cornea expert, Dr. Carol Karp speaking on “Update on the Management of Ocular Surface Neoplasia” Chairman , Dr. Jonathan Rubenstein introduced Dr. Karp. We had two excellent case presentations by residents, Nathan Moxon and Danielle Schochet . It was a special night hearing Dr. Karp’s expertise and insights,especially on ! We can’t wait for the next meeting!

What an amazing Krill Lecture given by Dr. Jennifer Sun, Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Her lecture, “What’s New in Collaborative Clinical Research for Diabetic Retinal Disease” was fantastic and truly showed us the power of research in creating treatment guidelines. This joint meeting with the Retina Raab Study Club once again showed the strength of our Chicago Retina Community 🙌🏻, ending the night with interesting case presentations by Dr. Mark Daily and others. We are very pleased to invite you to attend the 2024 COS Krill Lecture by Dr. Jennifer Sun on Monday December 9 at the Gleacher Center. Dr. Sun is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School in Boston. She is a vitreoretinal surgeon and clinician scientist at Beetham Eye Institute of the Joslin Diabetes Center and is one of the world’s most experienced and knowledgeable investigators in the design, implementation and analysis of diabetic retinopathy clinical trials. The title of her lecture is: “What’s New in Collaborative Clinical Research for Diabetic Retinal Disease.”
