September was another record month for Tron Solar in Illinois.

Our team installed 3.5 MW of solar and 5 MW of storage across the state.

That kind of output does not happen by accident. It takes a lot of moving parts working together — sales, design, permitting, operations, installation, service, and the partners and homeowners who trust us to get the job done the right way.

We are proud of what the team accomplished in September, but we are not slowing down.

There is a lot of momentum at Tron right now, and our focus is simple: keep building, keep improving, and keep raising the standard for what solar and storage ex*****on should look like in Illinois.

We are grateful for everyone helping make it happen — our employees, our crews, our partners, and our customers.

3.5 MW of solar. 5 MW of storage. One more strong month in Illinois.

Big congratulations to Ankur Suthar on his promotion to Senior Design Engineer at Tron Solar. 👏

Ankur has been with Tron for over a year and has continued to grow, take on more responsibility, and make a real impact within our design and engineering team.
This promotion is a reflection of the work he’s put in, the consistency he’s shown, and the value he brings to the team every day.

We’re excited to see Ankur step into this next role and continue helping us raise the bar.

Congratulations, Ankur — well deserved.

Big welcome to two new additions to the Tron Solar team — Yadan Mesa and Jake Evans, both joining us as Design Engineers. ⚡

Yadan Mesa brings a rare perspective to design because he’s actually installed the systems he now engineers. He spent six years in the field as an electrician and crew foreman, working on service upgrades, solar, and battery systems before moving into AutoCAD and PV design five years ago. Today, he builds complete permit-ready plan sets from array layouts and racking to single-line diagrams and load calculations — always with the installer in mind.

Jake Evans brings experience across 20,000+ projects and a strong background in building and operating efficient teams. He’s the type of person who isn’t afraid to challenge a process, break it down, and rebuild it better — exactly the mindset we want as Tron continues to grow.

We’re excited to have both of them helping strengthen our design and engineering operation.

Welcome to the team, Yadan and Jake!

👉 Tron Solar is proud to welcome Rick Fabris as Director of Field Operations. Rick joined us in July in a key leadership role with a clear mandate to transform how our field organization operates and position Tron Solar for its next stage of growth and expansion.

Rick leads all field operations across our three operating markets, including installation crews, fleet, assets, warehouses, and logistics. He is building the structure, standards, and processes that will allow us to scale while delivering a consistently excellent experience for our customers and our employees.

Rick brings nearly three decades of leadership experience with Best Buy, including 20 years under the Geek Squad brand, where he led large, geographically dispersed field services and operations teams across multiple states. His expertise is in strengthening the foundations of a business, from scopes of work to fleet and asset management to safety, and turning those improvements into growth through a better employee and customer experience. Rick is also a business owner, and his firsthand contractor experience gives him a unique perspective on the work our teams do every day.

Outside of work, Rick has been an active DJ in the Midwest music scene for more than 30 years. He is deeply involved in the Chicago community, supporting a number of local organizations, including Shriners Children's Hospital, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago, one of the fraternal organizations he belongs to.

Please join us in welcoming Rick to the team!

What a year it has been for Tron Solar. ⚡

We have set company records in sales, installations, fundings and storage capacity. In August alone, our team installed more than 4.2 MW of storage capacity in Illinois.

We are incredibly proud of our team and everyone who has helped make this year possible.

Now we are in FULL sprint mode for Q4.
We are continuing to add capacity and invest in our people, technology, and operations. In 2027, new automations and systems will help us move projects faster, communicate more effectively, and give our partners and customers a better overall experience.

The goal is more speed while keeping quality at the top of the list.
We are extremely excited about the momentum, grateful for the growth, and ready for what is ahead.

Let's handle business in Q4 of 2026. 2027 is going to be a big year. 🔥

☀️ Your coffee is made at home. Dinner is made at home. Now your power can be too.

Solar gives Illinois homeowners the ability to generate electricity right from their own roof and take more control over how their home is powered.

It’s simple: the sun hits your roof every day. Solar puts that energy to work for you.

Made at home. Powered at home.

Own your power with Tron Solar.

Illinois homeowners — your roof can do more than just sit there.

With solar, you can generate your own electricity right at home instead of relying on the utility for every kilowatt-hour you use. That means more control over where your power comes from, more protection from rising electric costs, and a home energy system built around you.

You’re already paying for power every month. The question is whether you want to keep buying it from the utility forever — or start producing more of it yourself.

Generate your own power. Take back control.

In-house installs. Local support.
Own your power with Tron Solar.

💸 Your house might be leaking $300 a month — and it’s not coming from the roof.

It’s your utility bill.

Every month, money leaves your account to power a home you already own… but you never own the energy system behind it.

At $300/month, that’s $3,600 a year disappearing into the grid.

Solar gives you a different option: produce your own power, take more control over your monthly energy costs, and stop accepting endless utility payments as “just part of owning a home.”

Fix the leak. Own your power.
