This morning, Navigate Restoration had the privilege of participating in the inaugural Indian River County Workforce Action Collaborative breakfast — hosted by Youth Guidance and prepared entirely by their culinary students.

And those students set the tone for everything that followed.

The menu they put together was nothing short of impressive:

🥩 Ribeye steak and eggs with smoked gouda
🍞 Blueberry cheesecake stuffed French toast
🥓 Fresh bacon and sausage
🥔 Home fries with peppers
🍓 Fresh fruit in a specialty experimental mix

Every detail reflected skill, creativity, and real pride in the work — which is exactly what today's conversation was about.

The collaborative is bringing together local businesses, schools, workforce organizations, and community leaders to start building real pathways for the next generation: internships, apprenticeships, mentorship, trades awareness, and employer involvement that actually connects young people to opportunity. And we are honored to be a part of it.

One of the clearest takeaways from the room:

The talent is already here. These students proved it before the meeting even started.

Navigate was proud to represent the skilled trades alongside CodeRed Roofing and to be part of a conversation that's bigger than any one company. Workforce development isn't a marketing strategy — it's what happens when businesses decide to genuinely invest in the community they serve.
