H.A.L.O. Rescue is looking for someone special to join our front office team! Weโre looking for someone compassionate, confident, organized, and comfortable communicating with both people and animals.

๐ฌ What the Job Feels Like:
โข Fast-paced and sometimes loud (yes, thereโs lots of barking!)
โข A mix of happy moments and emotional situations
โข Team-oriented, with everyone supporting one another
โข A role where youโll need to think on your feet and stay composed
๐ Responsibilities Include:
โข Greeting visitors and helping them navigate our services
โข Answering phones and emails
โข Assisting with adoptions and applications
โข Handling payments and donations
โข Keeping the front office clean and organized
โข Basic animal care, including nail trims (training provided)
โข Data entry and general office support
๐ช Animal Handling Expectations:
This is a hands-on position. Training is provided, but confidence around animals is important.
โข Some animals may be fearful or resistant
โข Scratches can happen during nail trims
โข Proper restraint and safe handling are essential
๐ Weโre Looking For Someone Who:
โข Is friendly and empathetic while being comfortable setting boundaries
โข Can handle emotional conversations professionally
โข Communicates clearly and works well with a team
โข Stays organized and focused in a busy environment
โข Is comfortable working directly with animals

Schedule:
Part-time, 3โ4 days/week
8:45 AMโ5:10 PM
Some flexibility is required.

Starting at $15/hour, with opportunities for raises
