Our hearts are with the Greater High Desert Chamber and all who had the privilege of knowing Sam Thatte. Sam’s dedication to our community, his leadership, and his genuine kindness left a lasting impact on so many throughout the High Desert. ICR extends our deepest condolences to Sam’s family and friends. He was truly a remarkable community leader and will be greatly missed.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Sam Thatte, a longtime and deeply valued member of our Chamber community.

Prior to the four Chambers coming together as the Greater High Desert Chamber, Sam served as a Director for the Hesperia Chamber of Commerce. He was also the Founder of the Ignite High Desert event, and his dedication, leadership, and willingness to give his time and talents made a lasting impact on our Chamber and the High Desert business community.

Sam was always willing to help, contribute, and dedicate his time to others. Many of our members knew Sam closely and will remember not only his work and service, but also the warmth and generosity he brought to every interaction.

He loved to travel and explore the world, and he often shared stories of his adventures with Chamber staff. His curiosity, enthusiasm, and zest for life were just a few of the qualities that made Sam so memorable to those who knew him.

Sam’s contributions to our Chamber community will not be forgotten. He will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts, and we are grateful for the many ways he touched the lives of those around him.
