There's currently a large field fire east of Lovington. Please take care over the next few days.

Fire weather danger will be up Monday/Tuesday simply from the heat. Some wind gusts over 20 mph may be possible, and Monday in particular could see the relative humidity drop towards 30% in some places.

Burning is HIGHLY discouraged given the heat and lack of rainfall, and farmers in harvest should be extra vigilant given how hot we'll be (90°+).

For the last 10+ years, we've brought the football team out behind a fire engine at every home game. Today, Engine 102 was requested for a photo session with the seniors and their moms.

The Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday at 2:00 PM. The parade will begin at the school and proceed down Main Street. It will then turn onto N. Railroad, followed by S. Oak, and continue onto Adams before returning to Main Street and back to the school.
