Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to our country will never be forgotten.

At Gunter’s Veterans Home, we are honored to care for those who have served, and we recognize that the freedoms we enjoy today came at a tremendous cost. Behind every flag is a story, behind every name is a family, and behind every sacrifice is a legacy that lives on through generations.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we take a moment to reflect on those who gave everything in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reminds us to cherish our freedom, love our country, and care for one another.

A Safe, Respectful Home for Our Veterans 🇺🇸

There comes a time when living alone is no longer safe—but a nursing home still doesn’t feel right. That’s where we come in.

We are a residential home created specifically to serve Veterans who need daily support, companionship, and structure, while still preserving their independence, dignity, and sense of home. Our residents are often at the important stage before assisted living or nursing care is required.

Our mission is simple: to provide a true home away from home, where every Veteran is seen, valued, respected, and genuinely cared for.

• 24/7 compassionate care and supervision
• Medication assistance to ensure medications are taken correctly and on time
• Transportation to doctor appointments and essential outings
• Three home-cooked meals daily, plus snacks
• Daily housekeeping and laundry
• A calm, structured, and supportive environment
• Open and welcoming visits for family and loved ones

🏡 Our Home:
Set on beautifully landscaped grounds, our home offers a peaceful and comforting atmosphere with a spacious yard, an in-ground pool, and a serene pond. We also have three sweet dogs who provide gentle, loving companionship—bringing smiles, comfort, and emotional support to our residents each day.

We are a faith-based residential care facility dedicated to serving disabled veterans with compassion, dignity, and respect. Guided by our Christian values, we believe every veteran is created with purpose, deserving of honor, love, and excellent care.

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive home where veterans can experience peace, stability, and belonging. We offer 24-hour personalized care, including assistance with daily living, medication management, and personal care, all delivered with patience, kindness, and integrity.

We strive to create an environment that reflects God’s love through service—where residents are treated like family and their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are respected. Prayer, encouragement, and faith-centered support are offered in a gentle and respectful way, always honoring each individual’s beliefs.

We work closely with families, case managers, and healthcare providers, trusting God to guide our work as we care for those who have sacrificed so much. It is our privilege and calling to serve those who served our country.
