30 years ago, Eric started The Junction from the garage of his home, with Kathy by his side, and a belief that rural communities deserved to stay connected too. Back then, it was dial-up internet and long hours spent building something from the ground up.

Over the years, technology changed, and so did we. The Junction kept investing, learning, and growing: offering faster internet, expanding into VoIP phone service, and now laying fiber in Vinita for the next generation.

We’ve been here through 30 years of storms, growth, and change. Through it all, we’ve remained family owned and operated, and committed to connecting our neighbors.

What started in a garage became part of the lives of families, businesses, schools, and communities across this area. We’re grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey these last 30 years!

Last week, our team gathered for The Junction’s annual company meeting: a valuable time to reflect on the past year, review company performance, discuss future developments, and update everyone on important policies and procedures.
One of the best parts of the meeting is collaborating as a team to troubleshoot challenges and improve the systems that help our company run smoothly. These conversations help strengthen communication across departments and ensure we continue working together effectively for our customers and communities.

Help us wish a happy work anniversary to Hank! 🎉

Hank started with The Junction back in 2020 as a Field Technician, installing & repairing internet in the wild… and somehow we convinced him to come inside and become our Field Tech Dispatcher.

These days, he’s the guy keeping our field techs and their schedules on track, but still finding time to jump in and help with marketing—mostly because he knows just about everyone and everywhere in our service area.

If you’ve run into us around town, there’s a good chance Hank was in the middle of it.
We’re not totally sure what we’d do without him. Thanks for everything you do, Hank!

She’s known for being reliable, knowledgeable, a proud aunt, and one of the owners of our beloved downtown bookstore - All Booked Up!
