A warm farewell for Ar Sathish Kumar. He joined CUBOID as a Junior Architect and by hardwork and commitment rose to become a Team Leader and Associate. After a successful journey of 16 years he has decided to start a new chapter. Our best wishes for his future endeavours. God Bless!

Recently visited The Earth Institute at Auroville with our team for taking some inputs on arch / dome ceilings for one of our projects near coimbatore. Had a good interaction with Th Ayyappan, Co-Director (third from left). The institute was founded by Ar Satprem Maini, who is the Director. The institute conducts crash courses for building with arches, vaults & domes and for the making & use of compressed stabilized earth blocks (CSEB). They also provide knowledge transfer and training for other mason teams engaged in such works.

Glad to see the various heritage conservation works undertaken by INTACH Pondicherry in the old town. Within the tight spaces, further constrained by props and scaffoldings, skilled craftsmen were working with their traditional knowledge and expert guidance. Very soon this old building will be breathing new life. Our team had a click with Arasu, the head maestry, who showed us around with pride and enthusiasm.
