Preparing for the General Assembly Session starts long before January.

On September 16, Access Point Public Affairs President and Co-founder, Mindy Carlin, presented the City of Suffolk’s proposed 2027 legislative priorities to Suffolk City Council, helping set the stage for the upcoming session.

We’re proud to partner with the City throughout the legislative process and help ensure Suffolk’s priorities have a strong voice in Richmond.

VEDA President Garrett Hart was joined by VEDA Senior Policy Advisor Christopher Lloyd of McGuireWoods Consulting and Legislative Liaison Mindy Carlin of Access Point Public Affairs, LLC for this morning’s Public Policy Update. Thank you both for helping our members stay engaged with the issues affecting economic development across Virginia.
