To every veteran and transitioning service member navigating the civilian job market right now:

The world is catching up to you.

New research from the Convergence Outlook 2026 identifies the skills gaining the most value in the AI era. Skills that AI simply cannot replicate.

* Strategic judgment under pressure
* Adaptive decision-making when the information is incomplete
* Leading people through uncertainty
* High-stakes communication across teams

You do not need to go learn those things. Military service already built them in you.

The challenge has never been what you are capable of. It is helping civilian employers see it and adding the AI literacy layer that makes your profile even more competitive.

You are not behind. You are underestimated. And we can absolutely work with that.

At Vision to Purpose, this is exactly the work we do.

He is Risen!!!

"Very early in the morning on the first day of the week, the women went to the tomb, bringing the fragrant spices they had prepared. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in, they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. They didn’t know what to make of this. Suddenly, two men were standing beside them in gleaming bright clothing. The women were frightened and bowed their faces toward the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He isn’t here, but has been raised. Remember what he told you while he was still in Galilee, that the Human One must be handed over to sinners, be crucified, and on the third day rise again.” Then they remembered his words. When they returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the eleven and all the others." ~Luke 24:1-9

Friends,

Earlier this year, I shared that I had launched Vision to Purpose Press, a publishing partner for authors ready to bring their message to life.

Today, I am excited to share a special milestone. Our first author, Dr. Samantha Perry, has officially been published.

Her new book, "Women Executives. Owning a Seat at the Table," is a leadership guide grounded in both practical experience and faith, encouraging women to step confidently into the roles they are called to lead.

What makes this even more meaningful is that Dr. Perry is a recent graduate of our very own Regent University School of Business doctoral program. You may have known her as Samantha Calmese.

It is always inspiring to see members of this community take their work beyond the classroom and into impact.

Congratulations, Dr. Perry. I am honored to have supported this journey.

A very Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

"Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.

Yesterday I shared why AI infrastructure matters more than most people realize. Today, I want to talk about the career impact.

When AI enters an organization, jobs do not disappear overnight. Expectations change first.

Access to AI tools and resources shapes who gets to learn early, who builds confidence, and who is ready when roles evolve. That is why initiatives focused on expanding AI access matter for careers, not just innovation.

This shift affects job seekers and hiring leaders alike.

For professionals, AI literacy is becoming less about technical skill and more about understanding how work is changing.

For employers, AI readiness is quickly becoming a talent strategy issue, not just a technology decision.

The people who adapt best are not chasing every new tool. They are learning how to think, decide, and lead alongside intelligent systems.

This is where career resilience is being built.

I spend my work helping professionals and leaders make sense of how AI is reshaping careers and hiring decisions.

With purpose,
Jeannine

Everyone is talking about AI tools.
Almost no one is talking about the infrastructure that decides who actually gets access.

That gap matters more than most people realize.

This infographic highlights why America’s National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) is such a critical initiative.

The original challenge was simple but serious. Many researchers, educators, and institutions lack access to the compute, data, and AI tools needed to participate meaningfully in innovation.

The NAIRR pilot demonstrated what happens when that barrier is reduced.
More than 400 research teams were empowered through a public-private partnership model.

Now comes the next step. The NAIRR Operations Center.

This is not just a technical expansion. It is a coordination and governance move designed to scale AI access nationally, integrate resources, grow community, and support sustainable innovation.

Here is the part leaders should pay attention to.
AI leadership is not only about better models. It is about building systems that determine who can contribute, who can learn, and who gets left behind.

Infrastructure decisions shape workforce readiness.
They shape research pipelines.
They shape national competitiveness.

If we want responsible, secure, and inclusive AI adoption, this is where the conversation has to start.

More to come on what this means for leaders, educators, government, and the workforce.

AI strategy lives upstream of tools.
That is where real leadership shows up.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

I’m grateful for God’s unending grace, for the family and friends who steady and cheer me on, and for each of you whose paths have intersected with mine in such meaningful ways. You’re a gift I don’t take lightly.

May your day be filled with peace, joy, and the kind of laughter that makes the stuffing taste even better.

Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving.

Today, we pause to honor every veteran who has worn the uniform with courage and conviction. Because of your sacrifice, we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities that define this great nation.

We are forever grateful. Today and every day, we salute you.

I was recently contacted by a veteran who served in the Special Operations Forces community. He shared something that stopped me in my tracks.

He said, “I used to think jumping out of planes at 25,000 feet in the middle of the night was challenging, but I would argue that this job search process is worse!”

I chuckled at first, thinking he was exaggerating a little, until he told me he had gone through 7 to 9 rounds of interviews for multiple jobs. One company interviewed him 27 times across nine rounds for three different positions and still said no in the end.

That is unacceptable. No veteran or job seeker should be subjected to that kind of emotional marathon. It is exhausting for candidates and damaging for companies. It signals inefficiency, indecisiveness, and poor leadership judgment.

We can do better.

Let’s remember, behind every resume is a human being doing their best to serve again, this time in the civilian world.

I’m curious, how many rounds have you gone through for a single role? I’d really like to know.

On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out su***de attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

We will NEVER forget!
