This. This is at the heart of so much of the work I do. 💗

Helping women peel away all the shoulds, roles, expectations and conditioning they’ve collected over a lifetime, and rediscover who they really are underneath it all.

Because there is something incredibly powerful that happens when you stop trying to become who you think you’re supposed to be... and start living, creating and leading as more fully YOU.

That’s my passion. And honestly, I think it’s some of the most important work of this New Era.

Thank you, Dolly. You always know how to say it. ✨

The New Era is demanding this from us…finally...

For decades, we’ve been talking about authenticity.

Be yourself. Be more real. Bring your whole self. It sounds wonderful.

Except…who exactly is that?

Because by the time we get to this season of our lives, most of us have accumulated a LOT of ideas about who we’re supposed to be.

-How a successful woman behaves.

-What a “real” business looks like.

-What we should want by now.

-What we should be good at.

-What we definitely shouldn’t walk away from.

The New Era is asking something different of us.

It’s asking us to shed the old roles, rules and identities that no longer fit and become more of who we actually are.

Not who we learned to be.

Who we’re designed to be.

This has quietly become one of the deepest threads in my work with entrepreneurs and leaders.

Helping someone see herself underneath all the conditioning.

Her natural gifts. Her way of creating. Her way of leading. Her rhythms. Her voice. Her creativity. What lights her up. Even the things she’s spent years thinking she should change about herself.

And lately, I’ve been watching this happen in some pretty big ways.

One of my clients recently left a top global company. The kind of job most people would tell you, You don’t leave that.

But she did.

She’s creating her own business now, one that actually uses her strengths, creativity and unique design.

Another came from the corporate organizational-change world and had built her own business, but the way she was trying to fit herself into the online-business world never quite fit her.

Now she’s shedding those old narratives and seeing a much bigger possibility: working with enterprises and changemakers doing meaningful work in the world.

And another creative client finally let go of the idea that she was supposed to be a marketing consultant.

Right now?

She’s pet sitting around the country because she absolutely lights up around dogs. 🐶She’s also an artist, licensing her artwork and following a life that looks much more like hers.

I love that one.

Because authenticity doesn’t always make sense according to the old scorecard.

People may not understand your choices.

They may wonder why you’re leaving the impressive thing, changing direction, wanting something different, making more room for joy, or refusing to keep doing something simply because you’re good at it.

That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re off track.

It might mean you’re finally getting close to your track.

This is one reason I’m so passionate about the New Human Design.

It gives us a way to begin peeling back those layers and recognizing:

This is actually how I’m designed.

There’s permission in that.

But even more than permission, there’s self-recognition.

And maybe that’s what authenticity really asks of us.

This is what we are all craving - from each other & from ourselves.

A few weeks ago, I found myself working on a presentation over the weekend.

It was for a Feminine Human Design training I was giving later that week, and strangely, I was getting it done days ahead of time.

If you know me, you know I can be a bit of a deadline girl. 🧐

So even I noticed.

Why am I so compelled to get this done now?

There was no big voice. No flashing sign.

Just this feeling of keep going...get this done.

Then on Tuesday, I looked at my calendar for Thursday and Friday and suddenly it felt way too packed.

Again, nothing was wrong. I just had this strong nudge to create more space.

So I rescheduled a therapy appointment. Moved a call with a friend. Lightened things up.

And then at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning, the phone rang.

My dad was having a heart attack and was on his way to the ER.

First, he is doing well. He had a stent put in and is now home, building his strength back. ❤️‍🩹

But for the next three days, I was back and forth to the hospital, rotating with my brother, my sister and my dad’s girlfriend (yes - at 86 he has a girlfriend!).

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I realized...

My intuition had been creating space for me before I knew I was going to need it.

That’s the thing about intuition.

It doesn’t always arrive as a lightning bolt or a divine download with detailed instructions.

Sometimes it’s an urge to finish something early.

A calendar that suddenly feels too full.

A quiet do this now.

A pull toward something you can’t quite explain.

I’ve had so many nudges, whispers, ideas and waves of energy over the years (read on...)

Trusting your body knows what’s needed before your mind does.

There have been seasons in my life when I desperately wanted answers...

-When my marriage was ending.

-When I was trying to rebuild a business that no longer fit who I had become.

-When the economy shifted and I wondered if people would still invest in meaningful work.

Those moments have something in common. My path forward never appeared because I found the “right” answer.

It appeared because I got curious.

Not the kind of curiosity where I have to gather a whole lot more information.

The curiosity that softens my grip.

The kind that whispers, What if there’s another way?

Over the years, I’ve realized that staying curious has quietly become one of the deepest practices in my life.

💖It has helped me navigate heartbreak without hardening.

💖It has helped me grow my business without abandoning my values.

💖It has helped me step into greater visibility without letting my ego take the wheel.

💖And lately, as our world continues to change in ways none of us could have predicted, curiosity is what keeps bringing me back to myself.

Instead of asking...

“How do I control all of this?” “I must find the answer…now!” (anyone relate?)

I find myself softening and asking...

“What wants to emerge?”

“What haven’t I seen yet?”

“What is life trying to show me?”

Getting curious with these questions changes everything.

If you’ve been around my work for a while, you know I often teach through the lens of Feminine Human Design. One of the foundational energies in my own design is Gate 10, often called the Gate of Love of Self or the True Self Navigator.

To me, this frequency runs underneath everything I do and is the quiet compass that keeps asking,

“Is this truly you?”

Not who you think I should be.

Not who everyone else expects me to become.

My true authentic self.

When I’m coaching a client, sitting with a friend who’s navigating something difficult, or finding my own footing through change, that question is almost always underneath the conversation.

Not because I have their answer.

But because I trust that their deepest wisdom does.

That takes curiosity. Not certainty.

That’s why I believe curiosity is one of the great leadership skills of the New Era.

>>>One of the Great Myths: We’ve been taught that strong leaders have all the answers.

The leaders I admire most create spaces where better questions can be asked.

They listen deeply.

They remain open even when the path ahead isn’t obvious.

It’s not always easy to stay curious and open when life is screaming at you to find the right answer fast.

So wherever you find yourself today, maybe you don’t need to figure everything out.

Maybe the next step isn’t another strategy.

Maybe it’s one beautiful question.

What wants to emerge through me right now?

P.S. I’d love to know... What’s one area you desperately want answers to and are willing to sit with your curiosity. Please share - Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is begin the conversation.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about trust.

Not trusting that everything will go according to plan. Life has never worked that way.

I'm talking about something deeper.
Trusting yourself.
Trusting that you'll figure it out.
Trusting your resilience.
Trusting that your gifts will meet the moment.
Trusting that even when the path isn't clear, you'll find your next step.

I believe this is becoming one of the most important New Era Skills.

For so long, we've been taught to look outside ourselves for the answers. Looking to...
The expert.
The strategy.
The perfect plan.
Those things can absolutely be helpful.

But I've come to understand that they're at their best when they support our own inner authority, not replace it.

The women I see thriving aren't the ones with all the answers.
They're the ones learning to trust themselves a little more each day.

To pause before reacting.
To notice what resonates.
To rely on their gifts instead of someone else's formula.
To remember that uncertainty doesn't mean they're on the wrong path. It simply means they're living.

📝 The graphic I'm sharing this week is a little reminder of that. You might want to save it somewhere you'll see it this week.

And each time you do, take one slow breath and remember:

You don't have to know the whole path.

You only have to trust yourself with the next step.

This Week's Reflection Practice:
Where in your life are you ready to trust yourself just a little more...even in the uncertainty?

Feel free to reply and let me know how this message or the visual resonates with you. I would love to hear!
