🚨 HOW TO PREP FOR AN INDOOR FLEA TREATMENT 🚨

Proper preparation is extremely important! Fleas hide in carpets, furniture, cracks, bedding, and pet-resting areas. Following these steps helps the treatment work faster and gives you the best chance of complete eradication.

✅ **Before your appointment:**

• Vacuum all carpets, rugs, furniture, baseboards, cracks, and underneath beds
• Empty the vacuum outside immediately
• Wash and dry all bedding, blankets, pet bedding, and washable fabrics using high heat
• Pick up toys, clothing, shoes, pet items, and anything else covering the floors
• Move lightweight furniture so the technician can reach underneath it
• Sweep and mop hard floors before treatment
• Cover or put away food, dishes, pet bowls, and children’s items
• Arrange for people and pets to leave during treatment
• Cover fish tanks and follow your technician’s instructions
• Have every pet professionally treated for fleas at the same time—even if you don’t see fleas on them!

🏠 **After treatment:**

• Stay out of the home until the technician says it is safe to return and all products are completely dry
• Vacuum daily to encourage hidden flea pupae to emerge and contact the treatment
• Continue washing pet bedding regularly
• Do not clean treated areas until your technician says it is safe
• Keep all scheduled follow-up appointments

⚠️ Seeing some flea activity after the first treatment does not automatically mean it failed. Flea eggs and pupae can continue hatching, which is why indoor flea eradication usually requires a **2–3-part treatment program**.
