Bathroom tile is having a moment and it’s all about texture, warmth, and making a statement. Here’s what I'm absolutely loving!

✨ Tile drenching — using the same tile on walls and floors for a seamless, spa-like feel (and it makes smaller spaces feel bigger)

✨ Large-format tiles — fewer grout lines = cleaner, more modern look

✨ Earthy tones — warm beiges, taupes, terracotta, and rich browns are replacing stark whites

✨ Natural textures — think travertine, limestone, and tiles with movement

✨ Zellige + handcrafted looks — imperfect, glossy, and full of character

✨ Fluted + 3D tiles — adding depth and interest to walls

✨ Reimagined subway tile — longer, slimmer tiles, stacked vertically or in herringbone patterns

✨ Statement moments — bold marble veining, greens, or patterned tile used intentionally

You don’t need a full weekend or a massive overhaul to reset your space.

You just need a starting point.
✨ Clear one surface completely
✨ Get rid of what you don’t use or love
✨ Let the light in — open windows, raise the shades
✨ Add something fresh — greenery, branches, or flowers
✨ Put things back with intention

It’s amazing how quickly a space can shift when you clear the excess and let it breathe. Small resets → big impact.

Small spaces don’t need more square footage — they need smarter design.

A few simple hacks that make a huge difference:

✨ Use mirrors to reflect light and visually expand the room
✨ Choose furniture with legs to create breathing room underneath
✨ Go vertical — tall shelving draws the eye up
✨ Stick to a cohesive color palette to reduce visual clutter
✨ Incorporate multi-functional pieces (storage ottomans, nesting tables, drop-leaf desks)

In smaller rooms, every piece has to earn its place. The goal isn’t to fill the space — it’s to give it flow. When done right, a small space can feel intentional, open, and beautifully pulled together. 🤗

Good design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about how it works for your life and how it makes you feel when you walk in.

If a room feels calm, welcoming, and easy to live in, it’s doing its job. Because at the end of the day, design should make you happy. 😄

Spring is such a great time to list a home, but it’s also when buyers are extra tuned in. They’re walking in hoping to feel fresh, light, and move-in ready. When clients ask how to prepare, I always suggest starting with the simple things that make the biggest difference:

✨ Let the light in — open shades and clean windows
✨ Add fresh seasonal flowers or greenery for life and color
✨ Edit and declutter so the home feels calm and open
✨ Tidy up curb appeal — a clean entry and a couple planters go a long way
✨ Swap in lighter textiles like pillows and bedding
✨ Do a true deep clean (buyers really do notice)

Spring selling isn’t just about timing, it’s about how the home feels when someone walks in.

If your living room feels “off,” it’s usually not the furniture, it’s the fundamentals.

✔ DO:
✨ Let natural light lead the way
✨ Choose a cohesive color story and stick to it
✨ Give your walls purpose — art, texture, or architectural detail
✨ Create balance in your layout (symmetry calms the eye)
✨ Pull inspiration from what’s outside your windows

✖ DON’T:
– Rely on one harsh overhead light
– Crowd the room with too many small pieces
– Forget comfort
– Cover up beautiful windows or views

When light, scale, and balance work together, the room just feels right. And that’s the goal. 💫

Feeling overwhelmed by clutter? Try this simple test.

Ask yourself:
• Have I used this in the last 90 days?
• Will I use it in the next 90 days?

If the answer to both is no… it’s time to let it go.

The beauty of this method (made popular by The Minimalists) is that it cuts through guilt and “just in case” thinking. It helps you focus on what you actually use, not what you might someday. It works because it shifts you out of guilt and into reality. And the best part? It still allows for common-sense exceptions. This isn’t about extreme minimalism, it’s about creating space for what truly supports your everyday life.

When spring hits, everyone thinks about curb appeal, but not all updates make a real impact. From a staging perspective, the goal isn’t perfection, it’s creating a home that feels cared for and welcoming before buyers even walk inside.

The updates that truly matter:
🌿 Fresh greenery or simple planters — life at the entry goes a long way
🚪 A clean, visible front door — wiped down or freshly painted if needed
🧹 Clear walkways and porches — no clutter, pollen, or debris
🪑 Simple seating or a styled porch moment — it signals livability
💡 Working, clean light fixtures — buyers notice more than you think

Here’s a simple home habit I love sharing with clients because it truly makes a difference. In parts of Europe, they call it lüften—or “burping” your house. It just means opening your windows for 10 to 30 minutes to let fresh air in and stale air out.

I always ❤️ how much better a home feels after this. The space feels lighter, fresher, and more inviting—something buyers and homeowners both respond to right away. It’s such a small shift, but it can completely reset the feel of your home.

I’ve noticed that the hardest part of any project is simply starting. But once you take that first step, things move quickly and the sense of progress is incredibly satisfying.

We all have 10 minutes. And if you use it intentionally, you can completely shift how a space feels.

Try one of these quick wins:
✨ Tidy your nightstand — clear the clutter and keep only what you actually use
✨ Reset your freezer — if your fridge is organized, your freezer can be too
✨ Edit your underwear drawer — yes, it counts and yes, it feels amazing
✨ Organize your medicine cabinet — toss expired items and simplify
✨ Contain kids’ art supplies — 10 minutes and you’re done

You don’t need a full Saturday overhaul. You need momentum. Pick one, set a timer and start.
I’m off to organize my medicine cabinet! 🙌

Spring has a way of making us crave change, but it doesn’t have to be dramatic. Instead of starting from scratch, try refining what’s already there. Lighten the palette, bring in fresh flowers, clear off surfaces and restyle them with intention and swap out heavy textures for something softer and airier. Even one playful piece like a blush chair or a stack of bright books can shift the whole mood.

A spring reset isn’t about adding more. It’s about creating space, letting the room breathe, and choosing pieces that feel fresh and alive. Sometimes the smallest edits make the biggest difference.
